Now is the perfect time to start getting ready for autumn and brightening the house with a splash of warm autumnal colours. It is the time when leaves change from green to a beautiful range of browns, yellows, oranges and reds. Many shrubs and trees produce amazing berries and seed heads which also look great around Halloween.
As summer falls into autumn, the nights draw in faster than a witch flying through the sky on a broomstick! Autumn is our favourite season. It’s a season of enchantment, one that nobody forgets as the months draw closer to Christmas.
The happy bright shades of autumn, with scattered leaves in reds, yellows and orange autumnal shades are required to brighten and lift our homes. Colour draws attention! Draped maple leaf garlands are hung, floral autumnal wreaths are visible on front doors and once again autumn is here!
Colourful plants such as Chinese lantern plants and sunflower stems flock into people’s homes. Lonicera branches, forsythia and beech leaf sprays add colour to any floral display. And maple leaf sprays and bushes in amber and reds and other autumnal shades can be added to the mix.
As the leaves fall off the trees, flowers and colour disappear outside. Harvest is here and people desire items for Arts & Crafts such as pumpkins, acorns, conker picks to enhance the dull days of autumn in their creative displays.
